Multiple people and organizations are presently working to stop the KXL Pipeline from Canada across America. They are using petition drives, letters to legislators and to the offending corporations. Despite this, these same corporations continue to build out their infrastructure to transport, receive, and process Tar Sands into a product.
It can be stopped, but to do this we need to organize to exact a just restitution for people and the impact on the environment in the wake of Toxic Events, such as took place in Mayflower, Arkansas nine months ago.
We are completely confident this can be accomplished if our plan is followed. This site, a satellite for Green Fields Renewal, is set up to show local people how to organize using the guide we produced and following the protocols which will allow them to exact stunning awards from corporations who externalize their costs of doing business and ignore the harm done to people and the land on which they live.
